DANIEL HAY LIBRARY In March 2001 West Cumbria Society for the Blind working with Alayne from Whitehaven Library raised £4,375 from The Neighbourhood Forum for the Daniel Hay Library, Whitehaven. The money was used to purchase a variety of Talking Books for the blind and partially sighted in Copeland. The Library also offers a mobile housebound service. OUTINGS Another aim of the Society is to provide outings for the visually impaired, whether it be afternoon tea, lunches or concerts.
