Charities Committee to help the hospital purchase a special scanner.
Pat Fitzgerald, Marie Scott and Angela Byrne prepared a lottery application requesting funds for a Home Support Scheme. However Angela Byrne resigned from her position as Secretary (she was moving away from the area) before the grant was awarded. Gillian Brennan was appointed as the new Secretary/Information Officer. OTHER ORGANISATIONS The Society was building strong relationships with other organisations and agencies such as Age Concern and The Citizens’ Advice Bureau.
